Pronouns change depending on their job in the sentence. Nominative is who does it, accusative is whom or what is affected, and dative is to or for whom.

Pronouns change with their job in the sentence, just like articles. Learn them in rows: ich, mich, mir · du, dich, dir. Verbs like helfen, gefallen and danken need the Dativ form.

"Ich helfe dich." Wrong. Helfen takes the dative: dir. And don't mix up ihn (accusative, masculine) with ihm (dative).
Memory trick
Only three sets: mich/dich/ihn (accusative), mir/dir/ihm (dative). Notice uns and euch are the same in both.
