How to use the list
Learn Each Word with Its Forms
- Nouns are coloured by article: der, die, das. Say the article out loud every time, along with the plural: der Nachbar, die Nachbarn.
- Verbs come with their Perfekt, because A2 is where you start talking about the past: umziehen → ist umgezogen, bewerben → hat beworben.
- Flip a card to see the word in an example sentence (with English translation and audio) and its forms. In the list view, tap any word to open its card.
The grammar for these words is on the German A2 grammar page, and the 14 course units are on the German A2 course page.
