Adjectives with -los

In short
-los means without: kostenlos (free of charge), arbeitslos (unemployed).
die Kosten → kostenlos · die Arbeit → arbeitslos · Der Eintritt ist kostenlos.
-los means "without" (like English -less). Add it to a noun to make an adjective.
How it works
- die Kosten → kostenlos (free of charge), die Arbeit → arbeitslos (unemployed).
- das Ende → endlos, die Hoffnung → hoffnungslos, die Pause → pausenlos.
- Sometimes a linking letter is added: die Arbeit → arbeitslos.
Examples
- Der Eintritt ist kostenlos. (Admission is free.)
- Sein Bruder ist seit zwei Monaten arbeitslos. (His brother has been unemployed for two months.)
- Die Kinder sprechen pausenlos. (The children talk non-stop.)
- Das WLAN im Hotel ist kabellos. (The hotel Wi-Fi is wireless.)
हिंदी-los = बिना: kostenlos = बिना पैसे के (मुफ़्त), arbeitslos = बेरोज़गार।
